Maurice Oude Booyinkis a Dutch producer, songwriter and musician with a strong instinct for melody, groove and records that connect emotionally. Drawing from a background in funk, soul, pop and electronic music, he combines classic musicianship with modern production to create songs that feel both immediate and timeless. He is best known as the creative force behind Joe Stone, the internationally successful house project responsible for records including “The Party (This Is How We Do It),” “Freak,” “IsIt Really Love,” “Make Love” and “Nothing Else (When I Think of You).” Through Joe Stone, Maurice has written, produced and remixed music connected to artists such as Montell Jordan, R3HAB, David Guetta, Afrojack, Lost Frequencies, Felix Jaehn, Sam Feldt, FerreckDawn, Ally Brooke and Kris Kross Amsterdam. His work also extends into pop and artist development. Maurice continues to develop the projects Mkayaand Marmaux, exploring warmer, globally influenced sounds that combine organic rhythm, songwriting and electronic production. Across his own projects, productions, compositions, collaborations and remixes, music involving Maurice has generated an estimated 450 million-plus streams across digital platforms. Whether building a song from its first chord or shaping an existing idea into a finished record, his approach remains the same: strong melodies, production that serves the song and creating music that connects.
