Paul Morris

Paul Morris (31) is a Venezuelan-Dutch pop artist based in Amsterdam, known for his energetic, sincere, and danceable music that connects with audiences. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, he moved to the Netherlands at the age of 18 to pursue his dream as a performer and studied at the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts. In 2019, he gained nationwide attention as a finalist on the TV show DanceSing. Since then, Paul has built a versatile career, collaborating with international artists such as Daddy Yankee and writing Hide My Love, the official anthem of Pride Amsterdam 2022, which he also performed on various major Pride stages.

In 2023, he reached the final of Op Zoek Naar Danny & Sandy (AVROTROS), and in 2024 he was among the last six candidates for the Dutch entry to the Eurovision Song Contest. After years of musical exploration, Paul found his voice in English-language pop. His debut EP It Gets Better tells a powerful, hopeful story about queer love, resilience, and finding your place in the world. With his heartfelt lyrics, warm voice, and dynamic live performances, he touches listeners and makes people shine and feel free. His debut single with Cloud 9 Music, The Better Paul, is an energetic pop track with New Wave influences that tells the tragicomic story of personal rejection with a surprising twist. Paul Morris continues to grow as an artist, opening hearts, filling dance floors, and spreading a message of love and freedom through his music.
